Tell President Obama to Close Guantanamo and Prosecute Terrorism Suspects in Civilian Courts
Months ago, Attorney General Holder announced his intention to try the 9/11 suspects in federal courts. Just yesterday, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee urged him to stand strong in this effort to bring terrorist suspects to justice.
The ball is now in the President's court.
Urge the President to stand firm against the politics of fear – and not treat terrorists like warriors by trying them in military commissions!
Federal courts have been MUCH more effective at trying terrorist suspects than the flawed military commissions.
Write the White House today to let the President know that you support using our federal courts.
