Tell President Obama: Stop the Supply Chain to Syrian Atrocities

The crisis in Syria is a human rights catastrophe. Over 70,000 Syrians have been killed โ€” mostly civilians, over 4000 children โ€” since the democracy movement started on March 15, 2011. The number is mounting with no end in sight.

President Barack Obama has issued numerous sanctions against Syria. But as the crisis spirals as they have very little effect.

Mass atrocities are complex, organized crimes. The Assad regime requires the assistance of "enablers" โ€” governments, commercial entities, and individuals that provide resources, goods, services, or other support that sustain the commission of atrocities.  Together, these enablers form a supply chain that fuels Assad's crimes against humanity.  The United States is well poised to disrupt this chain.
